Sollmann Electric Co. has been in business since 1973 when Dennis Sollmann started his business as a one-man operation in a small garage. Since then, Sollmann Electric Co. has grown into a major electrical contracting business as well as becoming a community-minded and progressive employer. Sollmann Electric has received numerous Excellent Service Awards for its business practices as well as its schools and community support.

Being committed to excellence has been the driving force behind Sollmann’s successful company.  Mr. Sollmann is committed to hiring top employees and encouraging them to continue their education and training while they are working for him.  Mr. Sollmann is very active in the School-to-Apprenticeship program through the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School, and also sits on the Electrical Advisory Committee there.

Tom Holthaus has been with Sollmann Electric since 1988 and is a certified Master and Journeyman electrician.  He holds a State of Ohio Electrical Contractor License.  Mr. Holthaus has managed projects up to $2,000,000.  Many of his projects have been recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors through Excellence, Merit, and Commendation awards.

 Jeramie Sollmann is a certified Professional Engineer with the State of Ohio.  He has been in the electrical field, including electrical engineering, since 1994. Mr. Sollmann has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and also holds a State of Ohio Electrical Contractor License.  He has managed projects up to $2 million. His projects have also been recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors through Excellence, Merit, and Commendation awards.
